Kuman Bahek : An Unique Tourism Product in Bakun and Belaga

A 'Kuman Bahek' scenic in Bakun  Dam water catchment area SIBU: Tourism authorities should consider making the Orang Ulu ‘kuman bahek’ tradition one of the main tourism products for Belaga, especially in Bakun Dam water catchment area. The ‘kuman bahek’ or picnic is a much loved tradition where the people get together at scenic spots at river banks to socialise besides eating, drinking, singing traditional songs and dancing, a form of activity that can help enhance ties and harmony.
